Sort the find first, then follow only the steps its door needs. The fee, the warehouse check, the clock and the return path are fixed by the door; the notes box is where you change what you can.

Ordering door by door, from the link to the shelf

The operator's guide has nine steps and all of them apply to a captured Taobao listing: find, submit, pay, buyer purchases, inspection and storage, submit the parcel, pay shipping, delivery, receipt. What the guide does not say is which steps change at the other doors. On a manual form, step two is you typing the attributes. At the second-hand door, step five adds three photos and removes the return. At Expert Sourcing, step one is a conversation. The banner in the picture carries seven marks: Taobao, Weidian, Xianyu, JD.com, Vipshop, 1688 and the lime-green POIZON disc, which is Dewu. Two of those are not free. Xianyu is the second-hand door at CN¥20, and Dewu sits in the 10% row of the operator's own fee table. The 1688 wholesale door

Who enters here: 1688 listings bought at wholesale quantity.

What the warehouse checks: Quantity is checked against the number printed on the boxes, not by counting pieces; Class A listings (the ones whose page carries the Guarantee, 7, 15, 21-day replacement or 60-day icons) get a sampling inspection instead of a full one, and Class B listings get none by default, with sampling available as a service you buy by adding a remark. help centre 1048, 1172, help28 table, read 2026-10-10

Inspection

What the warehouse returns, door by door

Every door ends at the same 24-hour inspection, but the inspection returns different things. The free scope is the same everywhere: style, quantity, colour, size and model are checked against the order, obvious damage is looked for, and three standard photos are taken, front, back and side or logo. Sellers

Seller signals that are door-specific

What you can learn about a seller is set by the platform, so it changes from door to door.

1688: the operator tells you to choose suppliers with the TrustPass badge, to check the minimum order and the available services before buying, and to settle return rules and who pays shipping in advance. Xianyu, Zhuanzhuan, Paipai: private sellers; the operator warns that returns are generally not supported and that the service fee stays if you cancel for your own reasons after purchase.
